Who We Are
Our goal is to cultivate Hopeful spaces for people (re)exploring life with Jesus, particularly beyond the bounds (and sometimes the wounds) of a specific congregation, denomination, movement, or leader.

Our mission is rooted in these fundamental beliefs -
1. life with Jesus is just that - a way of life - more than a set of beliefs
2. healthy, whole-life apprenticeship to Jesus yields joy, depth, and vibrancy
3. the diverse ways in which diverse Christians articulate and practice their faith are an appropriately prismatic reflection of God's character

(Some) Core Influences
Bridgetown Church has been a invaluable resource and a beacon for envisioning what's possible when a large community of people in a post-Christian culture actively re-order their lives around three primary goals:
Be With Jesus. Become Like Jesus.
Do What Jesus Did.
Wesleyan Theology
John Wesley was an 18th-century Anglican Church reformer and the accidental founder of Methodism. We rely on his oft-quoted perspective on theological diversity: "in essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things, charity."
In addition to guiding millions toward accountable sobriety, we believe the 12 Steps of AA to be a profound and mostly untapped gift to the Church as a tool for fearless discipleship to Jesus.
